3M 1245 Embossed Copper Tape is a premium grade of EMI shielding tape designed for maximum conductivity and performance. Manufactured from an embossed, 1 ounce dead soft copper foil backing and an aggressive pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive. The edges of the embossed pattern in the copper cut through the adhesive layer to allow the creation of consistent and reliable metal-to-metal contact between the copper backing and the metal substrate it is adhered to. This design ensures maximum conductivity and long lasting performance. 3M 1245 EMI Tape is supplied with a removable liner for easy handling and is typically used for applications which require excellent electrical conductivity. These include grounding and EMI shielding in equipment, shielded rooms and components. The copper foil backing utilised in this tape is solderable and resists oxidation and discoloration. 3M 1245 Embossed Copper Tape is 0.101mm thick and has a standard roll length of 16.46Mtrs.
