Isoval 10 Epoxy Glass Laminate is a temperature resistant laminate with excellent dynamic mechanical properties that is manufactured from layers of glass cloth that are impregnated with a flexible version of the Isoval epoxy system. This laminate exhibits very high mechanical strength coupled with very good chemical resistance as well as excellent thermal endurance properties at operating temperatures of 180ºC. Though primarily used for its electrical insulation properties, Isoval 10 can also be used as a quality construction material in various machines and equipment. One of its strengths is its ability to be precisely machined to suit the requirements of individual applications though, due to the strength, hardness and high glass content of this laminate, it is suggested that only diamond carbide tipped tools and high machinery be used for this task. Isoval 10 is stocked by AG in a range of sizes and can be offered by the sheet or in cut component form. We have extensive experience in working with this material and have often used it as the base for our precisely shaped slot wedges, insulating blocks, cheek plates and in innumerable other applications. Isoval 10 meets or exceeds the requirements of numerous international standards, which include: IEC 60893 EP GC 201, NEMA LI 1 G10, BS 3953 EP 3 and DIN 7735 Hgw 2372.
