Calmicaglas 2005 Resin Rich Insulation Tape is a highly flexible electrical insulation tape manufactured from a combination of calcined mica paper, glass cloth and a thermosetting epoxy novolac. This easy to use tape offers excellent dielectric, thermal, mechanical and chemical resistance characteristics and is used for the insulation of bars and coils on high voltage machines as well as for forming custom moulded insulation components. Compared to Calmicaglas 0893, 2005 has a lower resin flow when pressed. This tape is also used in applications with a thermal classification of up to 155ºC and is supplied interleaved.
