AG’s RT Lacing String is a strong and tough tape and tying string often used for banding winding heads and coils on electric motors and transformers. This natural (light tan) coloured material is manufactured from rayon yarns which are connected to each other in the lengthwise direction with a small amount of synthetic adhesive. RT Lacing String is used in 130ºC (Class B) electrical applications or 155ºC environments when it is impregnated with a suitable insulating resin. It exhibits very high tensile strength and excellent conformability for executing tight turns without breaking. RT Lacing String is available in widths ranging from 1.8mm to 8mm with rolls lengths changing in line with width.
