3M 1300L Adhesive is a high performance rubber and gasket adhesive with incredible versatility. Known more formally as 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ 1300L Adhesive, this industrial grade contact adhesive can be used to bond metal, wood, neoprene rubber, reconstituted rubber, SBR, butyl rubber and most plastics and offers high immediate strength and excellent heat resistance. This versatility makes 3M 1300L Adhesive an excellent all-round adhesive for a variety of industrial applications. 3M 1300L Adhesive exhibits excellent temperature resistance and is utilised in applications where temperatures range from -34ºC to 149ºC. It is yellow in colour and, thanks to its relatively low viscosity, can be brushed or sprayed. Typical applications for this premium grade contact adhesive include the joining of rubber strips or segmented gaskets, and for bonding rubber materials to a wide range of surfaces and substrates. It is also known to be used for bonding most plastics as well as wood and metal. 3M 1300L Adhesive can also be used to layer materials where it forms a high strength bond that displays almost no movement post curing. Available Sizes 3M 1300L Adhesive is available from AG in 1 Quart cans as standard. A higher viscosity variant, 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ 1300 is also available.
