Entirely food-safe, this piece makes a perfect fruit bowl or is ideal for serving salads and vegetable dishes. The variety of sustainable mango wood offcuts used to create each bowl gives a unique look and feel to each one. Mango wood has a light natural tone with natural variation within the grain. We love working with this material which is a by-product of the mango-growing industry in India and repurposing it to give it a new lease of life. Once the trees are no longer fruitful, they are taken down and we use them to create many of our stylish, eclectic and sustainable furnishings for use throughout the home. These bowls have been hand-etched using traditional methods.
