Spindles and Scarlet All-Natural Soap Bars are handcrafted in small batches using the cold process method. Our recipes use nourishing oils and butters, natural colorants, and essential oil scents to create a 100% natural soap bar that gives you a gentle clean without over-drying.   Scent Family: Herbal Floral Scent Strength: Medium Approximate Weight 4.5 oz.   Ingredients: olive oil, coconut oil, tallow, sunflower oil, castor oil, water, lye*, lavender, bergamot, and rosemary essential oils, moringa, alkanet and cocoa powder *All soap is made with lye (sodium hydroxide). Lye is a natural substance made from wood ash. Soap works by combining with oil and dirt on the body, and then washing away with a good rinse. Some of the moisturizing oils in the soap remain on the skin protecting it from over-drying. Simply wet your hands and soap bar, create a rich lather through gentle scrubbing, and rinse off with warm water.   For a fresh and long-lasting bar, keep dry between uses using a wooden soap saver dish or a sisal soap saver.
